Default Better Cinemas

I think a primary complaint with some players of GW is the quality of cinemas.

Quite frankly they suck~

Its not the voice acting, or the lack of moving mouths. Its the lack of good motion direction of the cinemas.

The fact that the cinemas use pre-existing animations in game doesnt help at all.

I feel that the characters in the cinemas deserve their own cinema animations. Keep the in game models, keep the lack of moving mouths, but at least make their motions more expressive.

They need So Toyota (MGS series motion director)

I'd love to see better cinemas. I think there's more important things to fix at the moment, but this would be a nice cosmetic touch. I like the voice-acting, and the storyline is even nice (yes, I said it, I like the storylines they've had ). But the video quality, to me, is the most lacking portion. Of course, it's relatively easy to do the videos the way they're done now (in game emotes & actions for everything... eg: flashing NPCs in a cinematic because they got "hit"? ), but I don't like that as an excuse considering how nice the graphics are in the game as a whole.

Yeah they blow

I still wonder how they all do that magic trick -- their weapons / shields disappear for a second and return after the emote -- I love magic!

*coughs*

They should make the cinemas like the factions cinematic ( ftp://ftp.guildwars.com/movies/Guild...ailer-High.zip )
That one is beautiful, nice pumping action! A-net can do it, they probably just don't feel like it.
